COMP OF DATA FOR #3 REISS WELL

COMP OF DATA FOR #3 REISS WELL
Digital Data File 7 Compilation of Miscellaneous Reports and Data for NGO Development #3-A Reiss Well in Adams Township, Coshocton County, Ohio

Open-hole data was collected from the #3-A Reiss Well as part of a 1992 case study for the U.S. Department of Energy on the Cambrian Rose Run sandstone (See Related Item Below). The data was integrated into the report to gain a better understanding of the stratigraphy and geophysical properties of Ordovician and Cambrian rock units in the vicinity of the Bakersville field.

Files contained in DDF-7 include data and scanned reports on a vertical seismic profile (VSP), along with sidewall core analyses, an LAS file, and TIF format geophysical logs. The original VSP data was copied into two SEG-Y files, which provide header information, including field data and computations, processing results, modeling, and interpretation. Specialized seismic processing software is required to read the SEG-Y files.
